Baker Mayfield is trying everything he can to get the Cleveland Browns on track as their season spirals out of control, and that includes experimenting with his facial hair multiple times on game day.
Mayfield was seen sporting a mustache after Sunday’s loss to the Denver Broncos, but that look was a lot different than the look he had when he arrived at Empower Field at Mile High. In fact, the quarterback made two changes in a matter of hours. When he walked into the stadium, he had a full beard. He was then rocking a fu manchu during pregame warmups before simplifying to a mustache.

Unfortunately for Mayfield, nothing seems to be working. Sunday’s loss was the fourth straight for the Browns, and Mayfield has just seven touchdown passes compared to 12 interceptions on the season. Cleveland’s offense has looked completely lost for much of the year despite the preseason hype surrounding the team.
Mayfield’s look during his postgame press conference could not have been more appropriate, and we don’t mean that in a good way. Maybe he should try being clean shaven for Week 10.
