The Dallas Cowboys will be making a quarterback change for Week 7 after deciding that Brandon Weeden cannot take them to the promised land. Rather, they’re making the change after watching him for three weeks and realizing that he is incapable of successfully quarterbacking the team while Tony Romo is out.
The report comes the way of ESPN’s Ed Werder:
Source says Brandon Weeden has been informed by #Cowboys coaches the team will start Matt Cassel after the bye week vs #Giants

Jason Garrett said Sunday the Cowboys would be considering a quarterback change since they’re on a bye. Other reports Monday said the team would be going with Matt Cassel.
Few people will disagree that Cassel is much more capable as a QB than Weeden, so this should be good news for the Cowboys.
