Brett Favre Hall of Fame discussion took less than 10 seconds
Brett Favre was the only “lock” to make it into the Hall of Fame this year, and that can be proven by the amount of time voters spent on his case.
According to a few writers who participated in the Hall of Fame vote, the discussion about the former Green Bay Packers quarterback took less than 10 seconds.
.@wyche89 reports that the Brett Favre introduction to Hall of Fame voters was 9 seconds. I mean… What do you really need to say?

The longest discussion of the HOF meeting was Eddie DeBartolo Jr. at 50 minutes, 33 seconds. The shortest? Brett Favre at six seconds.

Sure, that’s a difference of three seconds reported by two different individuals, but the message was the same: there was nothing to debate.
Favre won three consecutive MVP awards from 1995-1997. If that was considered his peak, then what’s incredible is that he still made another Pro Bowl over a decade later in 2009 at the age of 40.
Favre led the league in touchdown passes four times, yards twice, and completions twice. He is the career leader in completions and attempts, and he is second in career passing yards and passing touchdowns.
One of the legends of the game, Favre won one Super Bowl and played in two. Tony Dungy, Kevin Greene, Marvin Harrison, Ken Stabler, Orlando Pace, Dick Stanfel and Eddie DeBartolo Jr. are also part of the 2016 Hall of Fame class.
