Cam Newton may not have been able to do enough to lead his Carolina Panthers to a victory Thursday night, but he did teach the children of America a valuable lesson in dental hygiene. The question is why.
After his team’s disappointing loss to the Denver Broncos, Newton explained why he was spotted flossing his teeth on the sidelines.
Why was Cam flossing his teeth? "I was eating oranges at halftime." And that'll do it.

Newton had a much better first half than second half, so perhaps he should consider eating a different fruit at halftime in Week 2.
