Jimmy Garoppolo has clearly made a massive difference for the San Francisco 49ers, and fans are right to be excited to see what the team will look like in 2018. But few people are as optimistic about what the future holds as Carlos Hyde.
Following the Niners’ surprising win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, Hyde predicted that his team will win the Super Bowl next season. The running back is set to become a free agent, but he said he wants to remain in San Francisco.

While Garoppolo may not be ready to lead the 49ers to a championship just yet, it looks like new general manager John Lynch has already found his franchise quarterback. Garoppolo has shown he can deliver clutch performances, and he connected on 21 of 30 passes for 242 yards and two touchdowns against the NFL’s best defense on Sunday. Between his four starts with San Francisco and the two starts he made with the New England Patriots last year, Garoppolo remains undefeated in his professional career.
