Carson Wentz and Jared Goff enhanced their statuses as top NFL Draft quarterback prospects with strong scores posted on the Wonderlic test.
According to former NFL scout John Middlekauff, Wentz scored a 40 and Goff a 36 on the Wonderlic.
The Wonderlic is a timed test where people are given 50 questions to answer in 12 minutes. A score of 20 is said to show average intelligence. Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is said to have posted a 48 for one of the strongest Wonderlic scores ever by an NFL Draft prospect.
The relevance and importance of a Wonderlic score for an NFL Draft prospect is debatable, but high scores such as these from Wentz and Goff should only help the way teams view them.
On top of his high Wonderlic score, Wentz has also already posted a very good 40-yard dash time.
