Victor Wembanyama took a page out of LeBron James’ book on Tuesday night.
Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs lost on Tuesday to the Oklahoma City Thunder. They fell by a blowout final score of 119-98 at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, Okla.
After the final buzzer, the Spurs star big man Wembanyama pulled an unsportsmanlike move. He walked off the court without shaking hands with the Thunder players.
Here is the video of Wembanyama leaving the floor as his Spurs teammates remained out on the court for the postgame handshakes.

The 22-year-old Wembanyama, who finished Tuesday’s game with a modest 17 points and seven rebounds, really does not like the Thunder at all. When San Antonio was beating Oklahoma City multiple times earlier this season, Wembanyama made a point of taunting several different Thunder players. That included both Alex Caruso as well as Chet Holmgren.
But with the Spurs dining on the other end of the table on Tuesday with the loss, Wembanyama failed to keep that same energy. While Wembanyama is still a very young player, that unsportsmanlike display will have to go down as a learning moment for him.
