CeeDee Lamb’s mom threw shade at Dak Prescott on Facebook

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb were clearly dealing with some sort of disconnect during their playoff loss to the Green Bay Packers in the wildcard round.

The issues began early in the first quarter and continued throughout the game. Initially, the disconnect appeared to be timing-related but by the end of regulation, it was clear that Prescott and Lamb were seeing things differently.

At one point during the game, head coach Mike McCarthy and several players went over to give Lamb a pep talk on the bench. But after the loss, Prescott dismissed the notion that he and Lamb were having any issues.

“Two competitors wanted to be perfect and we weren’t perfect early,” Prescott told NFL Network’s Jane Slater at the time. “Far from being disconnected.”

As it turns out, Lamb’s mother, Leta Ramirez, also recognized the disconnect. And in recently unearthed Facebook posts from the day of the game, she absolutely ripped into Prescott and insinuated that Lamb needs to find a new team.

“Dak isn’t it,” read one of her posts.

Ramirez also praised Houston Texans rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud and suggested that Prescott isn’t actually interested in winning a Super Bowl ring. Her solution to that problem is Dallas moving on from their star quarterback to better Lamb’s chances of success.

It very well could have been frustration talking for Ramirez, but it’s apparent that both she and her son weren’t too thrilled with Prescott at the time.
