After 13 seasons in the NFL Charles Tillman announced his retirement on Monday. And, he did so in one of the best ways we’ve ever seen.
Tillman posted a tweet with two fingers in the air in the form of a peace sign, which will no doubt remind some of the way Marshawn Lynch announced to the world his playing days were over. However, instead of attaching a photo as Lynch did, Tillman included something else, a fantastic video.
It's been real ✌?️https://t.co/bM9lLkw9wi

I think Tillman swatting the bag of food at the drive thru window might be my favorite part. The scene with “Poison” playing in the background is great also.

Over his career, Tillman recorded 38 interceptions forced a remarkable 44 fumbles, including 10 in 2012. Now that he won’t be terrorizing ball carriers on the field, the 35-year-old can wreak havoc on people in everyday life.
Tillman was twice named to the Pro Bowl and was a First Team All-Pro in 2012. He also received the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award in 2013 for his volunteer and charity work.
Among those to congratulate Tillman on his great career was Aaron Rodgers, who said the long time Bears cornerback should be in the Hall of Fame one day.
Heard you retired @peanuttillman loved competing against you. You're HOF in my book. #respect #forcedFumbles #class pic.twitter.com/8O840NyweA

He very well could be.
