The Miami Dolphins released wide receiver Tyreek Hill on Monday, and there is no doubt that the Kansas City Chiefs make sense for Hill.
Hill was with the Chiefs his entire career before being traded to the Dolphins in 2022, and reuniting with Patrick Mahomes and OC Eric Bieniemy would make sense.
On Monday evening, Chiefs star defensive end Chris Jones wasted no time publicly recruiting Hill with a telling emoji on X.

Hill spent four seasons with the Dolphins before being released, and now he is a free agent for the first time in his NFL career.
ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler named the Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers as two teams who could make sense for Hill, and the Chargers are an option because former Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel is the new OC in LA.
Hill asked for a trade in 2022 after the Chiefs failed to give him a new contract, and he went to Miami and signed a massive four-year, $120 million extension.
Hil is currently recovering from a dislocated knee and a torn ACL he suffered in September, but he plans to continue playing, as he mentioned in a lengthy Instagram post following the release.
What Hill’s marker looks like remains to be seen, but Hill going back to Kansas City alongside Mahomes, Bieniemy, Andy Reid, and potentially Travis Kelce (if he doesn’t retire), could be exciting for Chiefs fans.
