Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Chris Jones was ejected from Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars for a play that will almost certainly result in a fine and possibly more.
On a Jacksonville extra-point attempt in the third quarter, Jones was on the ground with a Jaguars player and decided to throw a blatant cheap shot. Officials reviewed the play and ejected him.

The Chiefs were leading 23-7 at the time Jones was ejected, so the boneheaded play didn’t really cost the team. It should, however, cost Jones some money.
