Chris Harris denies being unhappy with Broncos
Denver Broncos cornerback Chris Harris is doing some damage control after being quoted as counting down the weeks before he can leave.
Harris will be a free agent after the season, and with the Broncos off to a frustrating 0-4 start, there’s reason to believe that he’s ready to leave. After Sunday’s loss, Harris was quoted as counting the weeks before his contract expires.
“Thirteen more weeks for me,” Harris said, via Mark Kiszla of the Denver Post.
On Monday, Harris denied interpretations that he was unhappy with the Broncos, tweeting that the losses are “the only thing I am unhappy about.”
I love being a Bronco, and the only thing I am unhappy about is losing. Anyone who suggests otherwise is flat out wrong #Strapharris

It’s been a horrendous start to the Broncos’ season, and it got worse with a major injury to a key defender. Harris’ frustration is understandable in that context.
