CJ Prosise possibly out eight weeks with scapula injury
Just when the Seattle Seahawks thought they had a crowd in the backfield, one of their rushers goes down with an injury. And it could be a lengthy one.
C.J. Prosise suffered a fractured scapula in the Seahawks’ win over the the Eagles on Sunday. Seattle head coach Pete Carroll said that Prosise would be out “awhile” with the injury.

NFL Media’s Mike Garafolo says the injury could keep Prosise out eight weeks.
Following up on that last retweet, early indications are it'll be upward of eight weeks for Seahawks CJ Prosise. Possible bye after 6 weeks.

Prosise had four carries for 76 yards and a touchdown prior to his injury and had just become a bigger part of Seattle’s offense. The team even released Christine Michael in the week leading up to the game because of Prosise’s emergence and Thomas Rawls’ return from injury. Now they will be left just Rawls for what could be the remainder of the regular season.
