There has been talk that Cole Beasley could price himself out of Dallas with the contract demands he has given the Cowboys, but the wide receiver seems confident another team will pay him what he wants if his current one won’t.
Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported over the weekend that the Cowboys want to bring Beasley back, but they are hesitant about paying the 29-year-old the $20 million guaranteed that he wants.

Beasley seemingly confirmed the report when he corrected a Twitter follower who thought he was seeking $20 million per year, so it sounds like that is what he wants. And on Monday, Beasley fired back at those who have been saying a slot wide receiver is not worth that much.
Everybody telling me what I’m worth…let’s just wait and see

“Slot WRs” just grow on trees apparently.

Beasley caught 65 passes for 672 yards and three touchdowns last season, but the seven-year veteran feels he is capable of doing much more. That became clear when he ranted after the season about how the Cowboys’ front office has an agenda and makes sure the ball gets funneled to certain players. Beasley also once “liked” an Instagram post bashing Jerry Jones, though he claimed that was an accident.
The Cowboys want to re-sign Amari Cooper, who is entering the final year of his rookie contract in 2019. That makes it even less likely that they will give Beasley $20 million guaranteed, so it will be interesting to see if he gets it from another team.
