Representatives from only seven or eight teams were present when Colin Kaepernick decided to bail on the NFL and host his own workout last Saturday, but the free agent quarterback may have plans to throw in front of more teams after the 2019 season concludes.
Kaepernick’s agent, Jeff Nalley, has sent the footage from Saturday’s workout to all 32 NFL teams, but Nalley said this week that he is not optimistic his client will be signed in the near future. According to ESPN’s Howard Bryant, Nalley also said Kaepernick is considering holding a second workout near the NFL owners meetings, which will take place in Palm Beach in March.
11) Next: Nalley sent all 32 teams the raw footage of the workout with a note offering Colin to speak to any team either by phone or in person. Nalley said they are considering a 2nd workout during the owners meeting at Palm Beach in March where all 32 owners/GMs/coaches will be.

If Kaepernick holds a workout near the owners meetings, he will almost certainly do so on his own terms and invite all 32 teams to attend. It is highly unlikely that Kaepernick’s camp and the NFL would work together to set something up after Saturday’s arrangement fell apart over a liability waiver and media access.
Many have wondered if Kaepernick actually wants to play football, and others think the NFL tried to set up a workout as a PR stunt and doesn’t really want the 32-year-old back in the league. Neither or both may be true, but Kaepernick got some positive feedback on his football ability after Saturday. However, many teams will continue to feel that he is not a good enough player to justify all the media attention he commands.
