The Oakland Raiders are once again trying to put another bout of Antonio Brown drama behind them.

Brown issued an apology to his teammates on Friday after an altercation with GM Mike Mayock. According to quarterback Derek Carr, the team captains were with Brown, and everyone is ready and looking forward to moving on.

Derek Carr said the team captains were up there with Antonio Brown at the team meeting and “we’re excited to move on.”

Carr has been forced into the role of public diplomat a lot this preseason as Brown has acted out repeatedly. The quarterback has maintained that Brown’s drama has been a lot less prominent from the inside, but it’s hard to believe that’s true with this latest incident, which happened between GM and star player at a team practice.

Carr must be desperately hoping that this is the last time he’ll have to answer for Brown’s issues, especially with the season getting underway.
