Former Packers linebacker Desmond Bishop won a Super Bowl in Green Bay a few years back, but he no longer has the jersey he wore on the battlefield. Over the weekend, Bishop tweeted that his house in California had been broken into and his Super Bowel 45 jersey was stolen. And there’s more to it than that.
My house in cali got broken into the other day & my SB XLV jersey was stolen. The investigating cop went on vacay tho. smh. checking ebay/CL

Isn’t there another officer that could help Bishop track down his important piece of memorabilia while the investigating cop is on vacation? Typically when people take time off, someone has to cover for them. I don’t see why this should be any different.
A stolen jersey may not sound like much, but I’m sure it’s value is immeasurable for someone like Bishop, who is currently fighting to make the Minnesota Vikings’ roster. Most players go through their entire career without winning a Super Bowl, so the jersey likely means more to him than any other jersey he wears in his career will.
As Shutdown Corner pointed out, he might have an issue finding the item on eBay or other sites if the seller isn’t an idiot. If someone lists a game-worn Demond Bishop Super Bowl 45 jersey for sale, everyone will know where it came from. We have already seen a Super Bowl ring from the Packers’ championship in 2010 recovered in bizarre fashion. Hopefully Bishop has the same type of luck with his jersey.
