Dez Bryant wants to prove to the rest of the league that he’s still got it before cashing in on free agency.
According to NFL reporter Ed Werder, the former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver wants a one-year deal to prove himself before hitting free agency again next year. Bryant is so behind this idea, in fact, that he reportedly turned down a multi-year offer from the Baltimore Ravens.

One year “prove-it” deals are risky, as one player learned this season. It’s a big boom or bust proposition, but Bryant has always been one to back himself. It sounds like he will be waiting a little bit to find a new team regardless.
