Lots of silly stories get circulated on the internet, but the difference is Dez Bryant actually responds to them rather than let them go.
On Sunday, some people on social media passed around a video of what they said was Bryant saying “that’s what you f—ing get” regarding the Ricardo Lockette injury. We saw the video but declined to post it because a) it was unclear exactly what Bryant said and b) context was absent.
Here’s the video:
Well suffice it to say that the Dallas Cowboys receiver did not appreciate being painted by some as a bad guy. He sent the following message on Twitter Sunday:
We learned our lesson a while ago (on this specific story) that you can’t trust the video of Bryant that is shown on TV. There’s no way he’d be celebrating another player’s injury like that.
There’s also this video from after the game of Bryant being angry with the media. He does use a curse word.
