Dolphins will pay salary of Kendrick Norton after placing him on waivers
The Miami Dolphins will ensure that Kendrick Norton is paid his salary after his automobile accident.
According to Field Yates of ESPN, the Dolphins placed Norton on waivers with a non-football injury designation, meaning that they will still pay him his full salary.
The Dolphins have waived DT Kendrick Norton with a non-football injury designation, which still enables the team to pay him his full salary and support their seventh-round pick.

Norton was in a car accident in early July that led to his arm being amputated. He’ll never play football again, but the Dolphins will see to it that he is at least paid what he was to be owed, in addition to his medical bills being handled by NFL and team insurance.
