Kendrick Norton’s agent confirms Dolphins DT had arm amputated

Miami Dolphins defensive lineman Kendrick Norton lost his arm in a serious car accident on Wednesday night, his agent has confirmed.

In a statement he released on Twitter, Norton’s agent Malki Kawa said Norton suffered multiple serious injuries in the crash and had to have his arm amputated.

What horrible news.

Norton is entering his second NFL season, but the 22-year-old will likely never play football again. He was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the seventh round last year and did not make the roster, which is how he ended up with the Dolphins. Norton also played his college ball at Miami.
