Bryce Petty already appears to have a new home after being released by the New York Jets on Thursday.
Petty was claimed off waivers by the Miami Dolphins, according to ESPN’s Field Yates. The Dolphins will add Petty to a QB room that also includes Ryan Tannehill, Brock Osweiler and David Fales.
The 26-year-old was selected in the fourth round by the Jets in 2015 out of Baylor but hasn’t done much in the NFL. In 10 career games, he has thrown four touchdowns compared to 10 interceptions with a passer rating of 57.7.
The Jets, meanwhile, have Josh McCown, Sam Darnold, Teddy Bridgewater and Christian Hackenberg on their roster at QB.
