Steelers WR Donte Moncrief avoids media after latest bad game with drops

Donte Moncrief avoided the media after his latest terrible game for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Moncrief was listed as having four drops in the Steelers’ Week 1 loss to the New England Patriots, including this one.

He had another drop in Week 2 of the team’s loss to the Seattle Seahawks, one that resulted in a costly interception charged to Mason Rudolph.

After his drops plagued the Steelers, Moncrief did not speak with the media and instead left the locker room as reporters walked in.

The calls for Moncrief to be cut were immediate. Even former Steelers safety Ryan Clark said something about it.

Moncrief dealt with a broken right finger during training camp and may still be affected by it. The Steelers benched him after his drop turned into an interception and may not be willing to give him more opportunities.
