Drew Brees kills crocodile with Bear Grylls (Video)
Drew Brees proved he is much more than just an NFL quarterback.
The former league MVP spent a few days in the Panamanian jungle with outdoorsman Bear Grylls for an episode of “Running Wild with Bear Grylls” on NBC. The episode aired Monday, and watching Brees pounce on a live crocodile and then kill it was easily the highlight:

In addition to killing the crocodile (and eating it), Brees jumped out of a helicopter:

Grylls had some positive things to say about Brees.
“He lived up to his reputation! And, truly, it was an honor to have him beside me,” Grylls said of Brees in an interview with NOLA.com. “When you leap from a helicopter into water that has crocs in it, you need someone who is all-in and will do whatever it takes to have your back. He was that man.”
Grylls also lauded Brees for being a true champion, saying he had the focus when he needed it and could be chill when the occasion called for it. The two talked about faith and family, and Brees even opened up about being mocked as a kid and coping with his mother’s suicide.
