Eagles player: Chip Kelly ‘doesn’t communicate,’ would not make changes
Chip Kelly is no longer the coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, but that is not going to stop his former players from criticizing him.
Anonymously, of course.
On Wednesday, an Eagles player told ESPN’s Ed Werder that Kelly was too stubborn and is a poor communicator.
One #Eagles player on Chip Kelly: "He is definitely someone who doesn't communicate." ultimately alienated Jeffrey Lurie too

Eagles player cites Chip Kelly's inflexibility as issue. "He wouldn't make a few changes here and there to make the players better."

It almost seems like Kelly wants to be like Bill Belichick, with whom he has a good relationship. However, Kelly clearly confuses Belichick’s public persona for the real Belichick. If you watched the “Do Your Job” documentary on NFL Network earlier this year, you got a sense of just how much Belichick listens to and respects his assistant coaches and players. The future Hall of Fame coach alienates the media, not his own players and staff.
While DeMarco Murray got plenty of attention from the media for his lack of trust in Kelly, it sounds like his issues with Chip were representative of the overall locker room picture.
Does that mean Kelly won’t get another shot as an NFL head coach? We can think of at least one job opening that might suit him quite well.
