If it wasn’t already clear, the Philadelphia Eagles have Malcolm Jenkins’ back after he was publicly criticized by Orlando Scandrick.
Scandrick, released by the Eagles Monday, went after Jenkins in an interview Friday and called his ex-teammate selfish. That did not sit well with the Eagles, who posted a video with a clear message.

In other words, the Eagles have no doubts about Jenkins’ abilities as a player or a leader. Scandrick shouldn’t either.
Maybe Scandrick thought he could get away with going after Jenkins because of the latter player’s response to some locker room issues earlier in the week. More likely, though, Scandrick just doesn’t care anymore and has no interest in making or keeping friends within the Eagles’ organization.
