Report: NFL investigators view Ezekiel Elliott as Public Enemy No. 1
Ezekiel Elliott remains firmly in the sights of NFL investigators.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the league continues to investigate an incident that took place in Florida in February involving the Cowboys’ star rookie. They are said to be conducting a thorough investigation, and Elliott is aware that it is ongoing.
A source close to Elliott told Schefter that they were told Elliott was considered “Public Enemy No. 1” by investigators, who are aiming to be as complete as possible in light of the misguided Ray Rice investigation.
The February incident is a new revelation that the NFL is taking its time on. There is definitely concern in Dallas over what might happen to the rookie running back if this incident is anything to go off of.
