Fans rip Raiders for surprising first-round pick
Most draft boards and mocks had Clemson’s Clelin Ferrell going in the mid-teens or twenties, but the Oakland Raiders didn’t bother waiting around and took him fourth overall.
The pick was viewed by many as a huge reach for coach Jon Gruden and new general manager Mike Mayock. Raiders fans at the draft looked stunned by the selection.

Between what the Raiders did to their scouting department and this, Mayock and company are gaining a lot of skeptics. They’ve got a lot riding on this pick, and it’s a huge risk.
