Frank Gore had awesome reaction to son going undrafted
Frank Gore Jr., the son of former NFL running back Frank Gore, may have gone undrafted, but his father is happy with his ultimate landing spot.
Gore Jr. signed with the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent, which will at least give him the chance to catch on with a team. From the elder Gore’s perspective, the landing spot is good, but his son is ready to show the rest of the league what they missed out on.
Just got off the phone with Frank Gore Sr. who was very emotional and happy about his son joining the #Bills as a UDFA:
"We’re good. We're going to Buffalo man to do our thing. Tell them they better be ready-trust me. I know what I’m raising. Folks slept on my son; they slept… pic.twitter.com/DcHZyhPo8k

“We’re going to Buffalo, man, to do our thing. Tell them they better be ready — trust me,” Gore said. “I know what I’m raising. Folks slept on my son; they slept on me too — they’ll see. My bloodline is for real.”
Gore added that the Bills are getting “a dog,” and that Gore Jr.’s undrafted status would not be a problem.
Gore Jr. rushed for 1,131 yards and ten touchdowns at Southern Miss last season, so it’s not a shocker that he managed to find a team willing to give him a chance. Whether he makes good on his father’s proclamation remains to be seen, but it sounds like he will not be lacking in confidence or pedigree.
