Could the Earl Thomas and Dallas Cowboys union finally happen?
Thomas has long expressed interest in signing with Dallas and will have his best chance of making that happen now that he’s a free agent. The veteran safety met with the Cowboys at the combine on Thursday. The meeting was to gauge what kind of financial offer Thomas is seeking.
Cowboys have had their meeting with Earl Thomas's camp. He is clearly their top target at safety but they are casting a wide net at that position if they cannot agree to a deal with him

Thomas’ interest in the Cowboys goes back to 2017 when he told Jason Garrett after a game that the Cowboys should get him. What followed was an offseason of trade rumors and hard feelings towards Seattle, who ended up keeping the safety. Thomas was having a great season until breaking his leg in Week 4. His former teammate Richard Sherman says Thomas will choose the Cowboys if the money is the same.
The 29-year-old had 22 tackles, three interceptions and five passes defended last season.
