Watch: Jags QB Gardner Minshew obliterated on hit by Kenny Young
Gardner Minshew experienced his “welcome to the NFL” moment on Thursday night.
Minshew is a rookie quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars and was playing in the team’s preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens. The Jags had the ball around their 9-yard line and lined up in shotgun on first down. Minshew bobbled the snap and didn’t see Kenny Young coming free on a blitz. By the time he collected the ball and looked up, Young had walloped him with a huge hit.

The hit knocked Minshew’s helmet off, though he should be commended for hanging on to the ball.

Minshew getting crushed like that in his first preseason game reminds us of the huge hit we saw in the first AAF game.
