Gardner Minshew’s epic Raiders photoshoot goes viral
Call it swagger, call it confidence, or call it a carefree attitude but however you want to label it, Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Gardner Minshew has it.
Minshew is forever entertaining — both on and off the field — and that continued earlier this week when the Raiders took team photos. The second those lights came on, the 28-year-old Minshew seized the opportunity in a way that only he could.
Take a look at his great photoshoot.

Minshew went with a multitude of poses from superhero to wrestler to the classic Uncle Rico from “Napoleon Dynamite,” each more hilarious than the last. And unsurprisingly, as often happens when he’s involved, the photos quickly went viral.
The Raiders signed Minshew to a two-year, $25 million contract back in March. At the time, he said they were his first choice in free agency.
“It was my first option,” Minshew said on Maxx Crosby’s The Rush podcast. “When we were stacking it up, I think I was their first option. As soon as free agency started, we made the call and that was it. Couldn’t have been easier. I couldn’t have been more excited.”
Minshew is expected to compete with Aidan O’Connell for the starting job in training camp. But even if he loses out, he will quickly become a fan favorite — if he hasn’t already — out in Vegas. After all, how can you not love him?
