Angry Giants fans hack GM Dave Gettleman’s Wikipedia page after trade
New York Giants fans are livid with GM Dave Gettleman for trading away Odell Beckham Jr on Tuesday, and they’ve made it known in several ways. Some made it clear by hacking the GM’s Wikipedia page and stuffing it full of negative comments.
Larry Brown Sports writer Gordon Dixon noticed that Gettleman’s Wikipedia page had been hacked and edited after the trade. The edits called Gettleman a “clown” and the “most hated man in New York” following the trade.
In his employment section, rather than listing him as GM of the New York Giants, the column was edited to say “Ruined the New York Giants”. It also listed 3/12/2019 as Gettleman’s date of death.

That gives you an idea of the magnitude of Gettleman’s move.
Let’s recap what Gettleman’s done: bring back a washed up quarterback for the second year in a row, draft a running back with the No. 2 overall pick instead of a QB, let Landon Collins go, and trade their best player. If you’re wondering what exactly his plan is, we are too.
Giants fans better hope his vision includes this man.
