Get ready for a new round of Marshawn Lynch rumors.
A source told Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk that there is a “very good chance” that Lynch will end his retirement after one year.
The source doesn’t indicate that hinging on the Oakland Raiders making a move for him, either. The Seattle Seahawks still control his rights, and if he elected to return, they’d have to either cut, trade, or keep him.
The Oakland Raiders reportedly want Lynch, so maybe they got an inside tip on his desire to return. If there’s any truth to this report, though, brace yourself for some interesting weeks ahead. There are a lot of unknowns relating to Lynch’s future even if he does decide to play again.
