The Cleveland Browns officially have a quarterback controversy again.
Browns coach Hue Jackson said Monday that he will wait to make a decision on who will start at quarterback for the team in Week 6, with DeShone Kizer and Kevin Hogan the candidates.

Kizer has been the team’s starter all season, but he was benched at halftime of the team’s Week 5 loss to the New York Jets after going 8-for-17 for 87 yards and two turnovers. Jackson had pledged to stick by the rookie, but he clearly felt that something had to change.
Hogan was significantly better than Kizer against the Jets, going 16-for-19 with two touchdowns and an interception.
With Kizer potentially being benched five games into his still young NFL career, it will do little to quiet those who feel the Browns have passed on much better options at quarterback in recent drafts.
