At least one fellow safety is hoping Earl Thomas gets everything he wants in his holdout from the Seattle Seahawks.
After Thomas announced that he intended to skip mandatory minicamp seeking a new contract, New York Jets safety Jamal Adams shared his statement on social media while rooting him on in the name of fellow safeties.
I support you brotha. Set the bar HIGH for us safeties !!! #PAYTHEMAN https://t.co/0KTzPpuTve

It’s a side effect of NFL holdouts that they impact positional value going forward. Quarterbacks are getting richer and richer, while other positions are being left behind. Thomas has the backing of a number of his peers as he seeks to recify what he feels is a situation where he is badly underpaid based on his contributions to the Seahawks.
