Jason Pierre-Paul continues to work hard and provide updates on social media in an attempt to prove he is close to returning to the football field. On Tuesday, we got a glimpse of his weightlifting routine.
But everything wasn’t 100 percent normal.
Pierre-Paul still needs a towel protecting his right hand, which is missing at least one finger in the wake of a 4th of July fireworks accident. He shared a video on Instagram with the caption “Getting back right.”
Last week, we got our first real look at the damage that was caused by the fireworks mishap when these photos of Pierre-Paul’s right hand surfaced. There have been reports that Pierre-Paul could file a grievance against the Giants since his personal doctor has deemed him fit to play, but it’s hard to imagine anyone questioning New York’s team doctor when you see what JPP’s hand looks like and consider the fact that he needs padding to lift weights.
