Jeff Fisher is continuing his habit of finger-pointing even though he is no longer employed by the Los Angeles Rams.
Fisher was fired on Monday amid yet another losing season as the Rams’ head coach.
In an interview with FOX that aired on Sunday, Fisher complained about leaks within the Rams’ organization.
“Successful teams are tight knit,” Fisher said, via Pro Football Talk. “And they work together and they stay quiet and they don’t leak things.”
Fisher was likely talking about the recent matter involving Rams GM Les Snead. Fisher pretended not to know about Snead’s contract extension, and then said the team’s personnel moves have not been good. The response came in the form of an unnamed source from within the Rams organization, which is likely a leak to which Fisher was pointing.
Fisher continues to blame, blame, blame everyone else for the team’s problems. At some point you would figure the head coach would take responsibility for his team losing as much as it did, but that’s not something Fisher would do. The only way he would have a legitimate excuse this season would be if he really did not want Jared Goff yet the front office forced the pick. But how does that excuse the previous four losing seasons under him?
