Jerry Jones says Cowboys did not see Greg Hardy photos
Jerry Jones released a statement on Friday that commented on the photos and report about the domestic violence case Greg Hardy faced.
In his statement, Jones said the Cowboys had not seen the photos but they still were aware of how serious the incident was:

If the Cowboys are telling the truth here, then it could just very well be a case of them not wanting to know what happened (other reports say they did know the contents of the photos). Jones brazenly signed Hardy to a deal at a time when he was considered to be toxic. The less he knew about what kind of person he was signing the better for his peace of mind.
Also, let’s keep in mind that while Jones says the Cowboys take the matter very seriously and do not condone domestic violence, signing Hardy to an $11.3 million contract sends the complete opposite message. It says the Cowboys care more about winning than the character of the players they put on the field. Jerry would sign Hannibal Lecter if he could play quarterback better than Brandon Weeden and Matt Cassel, and that’s the sheer truth. Just look at these photos and read about what Hardy did and you get a sense of what a bad guy he is.
Jones proudly would say about Hardy that he was never convicted, which is true, but Jones knew full well that Hardy paid hush money to make the case go away. That in no way makes him innocent or should absolve him of guilt, which is what Jones was shamefully trying to do.
