Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is aiming high — perhaps too high, in the minds of some.
Jones addressed his plans for the Cowboys offseason on Wednesday, and he sounded a very ambitious note. The Cowboys owner made clear that his aim is to retire having won more Super Bowl titles than any owner in NFL history.
“My goal in life is to retire as the owner that won the most Super Bowls,” Jones said. “We’ve got three. I’ve got work to do. But at least I’m up to the second rung of the ladder.”

Jones is 83 years old and has won 3 Super Bowls. #Patriots owner Robert Kraft leads with 6.

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft has won six Super Bowl titles. Jones has to win four more to get his wish, and he last won one in 1995.
Few people were particularly optimistic that Jones would achieve his goal.
You have ZERO chance Jerry

He doesn’t actually mens this. No decision from him in the past decade tells me actually means this

Shouldn’t have taken that 30-year break

Unless he lives another 30 years that ain’t happening

Jones is prone to ambitious hyperbole and occasionally outrageous claims. The Cowboys owner may well have the goal of passing Kraft and the Patriots before he calls it quits, but the 83-year-old is going to really have to get moving on that.
