Jets CEO declines to speak with reporters after blowout loss
The New York Jets suffered an ugly loss at home on Sunday, and it was so bad the team’s CEO didn’t want to talk with reporters about it.
Jets CEO Christopher Johnson declined to talk with reporters after the game and “did not look happy,” according to a description from ESPN’s Rich Cimini.

The Jets started veteran Josh McCown at quarterback because Sam Darnold is dealing with a foot injury. McCown was 17/34 for 135 yards and two interceptions. The Jets looked so bad they were down 31-0 in the second quarter and never really stood a chance.
The horrific performance led to questions about Todd Bowles’ job security, but the head coach did not seem worried.

The Jets are now 3-7 and could be on their way to a third straight 5-11 season under Bowles.
