The announcement means Trevor Siemian will start at quarterback for the second game in a row.
Siemian also started on Sunday against the Commanders. He went 27/49 for 217 yards, a touchdown and an interception as his Jets won 30-28.
Siemian was a 7th-round pick in 2015 and has appeared in 38 games, making 31 starts. The Jets are 6-9 but have won two of their last three games. The Browns are 10-5 and can clinch a playoff berth with a win.
