Jimmy Smith mug shot

Does this look like the face of a man arrested for doing something wrong?

Baltimore Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith was arrested on Saturday night for allegedly disturbing the peace while assisting a woman who overdosed on cocaine at a Towson bar.

Police were called to The Greene Turtle after a woman was found unconscious in the bathroom. Smith was in the bathroom trying to assist her and told police he had done a photoshoot with the woman earlier in the evening. A small bag of cocaine allegedly was found in the woman’s purse.

Smith was trying to help the woman and allegedly would not follow officers’ orders when asked to move aside.

Details via The Baltimore Sun:

According to the police report, Smith was told that because he wasn’t related to the woman and wasn’t helping her that he needed to leave so that medical personnel could attend to her and Smith replied: “I am helping her.”

According to the police report, Smith was asked three times by an officer to leave the restroom before being ushered out to the hallway. Smith allegedly cursed at the arresting officer and asked him “What the [expletive] are you gonna do?” When told again to leave, Smith replied: [Expletive] you. What the [expletive] are you gonna do?”

Smith is the fifth Ravens player arrested this offseason, though he is by far the happiest. I think you have to let the guy go based solely on that mugshot. Nobody that happy could have possibly done something wrong.
