JJ Watt dating pro soccer player Kealia Ohai
The latest rumors surrounding J.J. Watt’s personal life have been that the reigning Defensive Player of the Year is dating Kealia Ohai, a professional women’s soccer player for the Houston Dash. We now have confirmation that those rumors are true.
In a recent appearance on the 2 Up Front podcast, Ohai was asked if she has been seeing Watt. The 24-year-old wasn’t afraid to take things public.
“The rumors are true. We are dating,” Ohai said, as transcribed by Dana Thompson of the Houston Chronicle. “I’ve known J.J. for a really long time, and we’ve always been really great friends, and yeah, I’m really proud of him for everything he’s been going through, but it’s been pretty crazy with all the rumors.”
Watt typically keeps his dating life to himself, but he has been linked to many, many women over the years. Lindsey Vonn flirted with him hard on the ESPYs red carpet over the summer (video here), but nothing really came of that. Before that, Watt went on a “date” with a popular actress, but again things fizzled out.
