Ravens fans received a scare on Sunday when Joe Flacco left the field and headed to the locker room. Thankfully, it wasn’t as bad as it looked.
Early in the third quarter, Flacco took off and scrambled for a 14 yard gain that ended with an awkward looking slide. After tumbling, Flacco was seen examining his left leg and appeared to be in discomfort as he left the field.

Flacco has been wearing the brace on his knee this season as he is recovering from a torn ACL he suffered last November. Given the history with that knee and seeing Flacco hobble, it was understandable Ravens fans would be worried about their franchise quarterback. However, crisis was averted and a collective sigh of relief could be heard across Baltimore as Flacco returned to the game with the team announcing he had just broken the brace.
