Joe Namath questions severity of Geno Smith knee injury
New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith was knocked out of Sunday’s game with a right knee injury, but a franchise legend wasn’t terribly impressed with what happened after that.
Smith, who was ruled out for the game and watched the second half in street clothes, was questioned by Jets icon Joe Namath.
If you've got a right knee injury keeping you out of the game why are you standing on the sideline the entire 2nd half? How bad can it be?

It remains to be seen what the severity of Smith’s injury is. That said, it needs to be noted that Namath has never been the biggest Smith fan – and that there’s a big difference between standing around and running, pivoting, or setting to throw.
