John Fox is not about to make a quarterback switch despite Mike Glennon’s dud on Sunday against Tampa Bay.
The Chicago Bears were hammered 29-7 in a loss to the Buccaneers. Glennon was 31 of 45 for 301 yards with a touchdown, two interceptions and a fumble lost. The yards and completion percentage don’t tell the story, as Glennon was brutal in the first half and made many mistakes to put his team in a 26-0 hole at halftime.
Those calling for Mitch Trubisky to become the team’s starter will have to wait. Fox insisted that Glennon would remain the team’s starter, saying you can’t pin the loss all on Glennon.

Fox on MT10 in Wk 3?: "No. I don't think in any way, even without seeing the tape yet, you can pin that on the QB."

Fox on why to stay w MG8: "That wasn't Mike Glennon's Bears. It was the Chicago Bears. It was the whole team."

The Bears have long been clear that they want the North Carolina product to bide his time before being thrown into action, so it’s no surprise that Fox was insistent there would be no change. However, you have to figure if Glennon doesn’t keep the Bears competitive in games, Chicago may turn things over to Trubisky.
