Johnny Manziel indictment says he hit Colleen Crowley, forced her into car
Johnny Manziel was formally indicted by a Dallas County grand jury on Tuesday for a single misdemeanor domestic violence charge.
The official indictment states that Manziel is accused of “intentionally and knowingly and recklessly causing bodily injury” to his ex-girlfriend, Colleen Crowley. More specifically, Crowley claims Manziel struck her with his hand, forced her into a vehicle and shoved her into the dashboard. Here’s a copy of the indictment:

Manziel is unlikely to face charges or a lawsuit from Crowley herself, as the two reportedly reached a settlement out of court. A judge in February granted a protective order against Manziel that states he must stay away from Crowley until at least Feb. 3, 2018.
While one report claimed there is video evidence that could vindicate Manziel and show that Crowley actually hit him, the case going to a grand jury is bad news for the former Browns quarterback. If convicted, Manziel faces a maximum of a year in jail and a $4,000 fine.
