Jonathan Martin reportedly went AWOL after cafeteria prank

Jonathan Martin has gone AWOL from the Miami Dolphins and is currently receiving treatment in a facility, according to a report.

FOX Football Daily’s Jay Glazer reported that Martin, who has not practiced with the team this week, was the victim of a prank inside the team’s cafeteria on Monday.

According to Glazer, the players did a typical joke where when the last guy comes to sit down at the table everyone gets up at the same time to walk away. They supposedly did that to Martin, causing him to snap and smash his food tray. He reportedly left the facility, hasn’t been seen by the team since, and is receiving treatment.

Martin, a former second-round pick out of Stanford, has been listed as doubtful for the Dolphins’ Thursday night game against the Cincinnati Bengals. We hope he’s able to get his mind right and clear of whatever is bothering him.
