Jordy Nelson expected to play for Packers in Week 3
The Green Bay Packers should have their top receiving option available on Sunday.
Jordy Nelson is expected to play on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Nelson left last weekend’s game against the Atlanta Falcons with a quad injury that was described as more of a charlie horse than serious injury. He said during the week that he expected to suit up and play in Week 3, so this outcome isn’t too surprising.
Nelson has seven catches on eight targets for 79 yards and a touchdown this season — all of which came in Week 1 against Seattle.
Nelson is listed as questionable for the game.
